4 Monday Mi.nu.tia @ February 13th, 2006

4 was sooo last year - Miss Lucille turned 5 this weekend and things will never be the same again. She insists on being called Lucille as opposed to Lucy and is no longer the rugrat of days past. As the result of being the daughter of two "blended" households, she had back-to-back celebrations. Sat. was the organized "Gym" party complete with an obstacle course and assorted shenanigans. Yesterday Bevs made her a Hello Kitty cake and tonight we are ...

0 Monday Mi·nu·ti·a @ February 6th, 2006

Today finds me laying out and tweaking, mostly tweaking the Spring 06 catalog. Tedious work indeed. I suppose someday soon I will be passing the task to someone else but for now it's all me. 180 products in 12 pages, hot damn! Took Miss Lucille to see Hoodwinked this weekend. Andy Dick cast as a pseudo evil-genius bunny. Brilliant! Sad to see my old Seattle hometown Seahawks go down in the Superbowl. Oh well. I missed the halftime commercials but caught Mick ...

When a funnel becomes a megaphone - For years marketing guru Seth Godin has been singing the praises of the "funnel". Lots of ideas go in, the best are distilled and flow out the bottom. Now he's telling us to turn the funnel on it's side, thus becoming a megaphone and letting the customers/sneezers become part of the process. This makes perfect sense in the world of web 2.0. Tools like Del.ico.us, Riffs, Squidoo and blogs spread powerful, relative and ...

4 TinyTech Thursday @ January 26th, 2006

Fastr is a game that uses flickr images. It loads ten images that all share a common tag, one by one, and you guess what the tag is. When you guess right, the tag will turn blue. Then you can watch the pictures until the next set begins. The faster you guess, the more points you get. The points are reset every five minutes. Schools are using DDR to have students loose weight. Check out this Zelda controller mockup! Pretty darn cool! The ...

Follow my silly exploits over at the TinyMeat MoFoBlog. I'l be blogging from my camera phone. As I am going to be visiting the Meth capitol of the world it is only appropriate that the them for this trip is "Pickers Parade" or "The Tweaker Follies". What ...

Did you Know? The silhouette on the NBA logo is Jerry West. The only "real" food that U.S. Astronauts are allowed to take into space is pecans. Mt.
