Do we care? I must just a tad or else I wouldn't be writing this. John Williams nominated not once but twice? Jane Austen, yawn. And the worst part of the evening, no Desperate Housewives. Bastards.
Why not just have your convention at some non-descript convention center, give all the winners an endless amount of time to feel self-important and spare us the boring details.
Hey Hollywood give us something other than formualic warmed over crap to feel good about.
How about ...
Happy frickin' wednesday friends and haters. Please feel sorry for me as it's so damn cold here in VT and I have had just about as much as this big MoFo can take. The heater has been constantly running since I got back from Vegas and my hands feel like they are made out of wood. So much to do and so little time seems to be the ongoing theme over here at the Tiny HQ. I have finally come ...
The People, Places and Things that made our inaugural Magic Tradeshow and smashing success.
Tim Scott of Lucky Devil in Atlanta. It was nice to put the name to the face.
Tim's suggestion of Battista's Hole in the Wall for dinner. All the red and white wine you can drink, old photos of celebs on every wall, a strolling accordianist named Gordy and the kind of worn in patina that comes from being just off the strip since 1970. Old Vegas ...
Whilst preparing for the big show in Vegas next week I have scaled back a tad on my posts the past few days. So much to do so little time.

Yesterday was my hump day. Yep, Valentines Day was spent staging all the Tinymeat samples and boxing 'em up for their trip to Las Vegas. 65 lbs and one box later they are off and on their way to a holding pen at Bally's Casino. It truly feels like a huge weight off my shoulders. Bevs and I had a quiet night of Sushi, dreaming not-so-tiny, and the Shield. How much longer until Kavannaugh totally goes off the deepend?
Still so ...
4 was sooo last year - Miss Lucille turned 5 this weekend and things will never be the same again. She insists on being called Lucille as opposed to Lucy and is no longer the rugrat of days past. As the result of being the daughter of two "blended" households, she had back-to-back celebrations. Sat. was the organized "Gym" party complete with an obstacle course and assorted shenanigans. Yesterday Bevs made her a Hello Kitty cake and tonight we are ...
Giant pen and ink patterns came to life this morning. One will sneak into the spring line and the other will be the basis for the Fall '06 homeware line. Cover and intro spreads for the spring catalog are complete so now the task of fitting all 174 pieces into 12 pages has begun.
Hey how about photos from some happy Tinymeat customers? Or at least a shout-out. Jericho, Bellevue, Burnaby, Mount Laurel, UK and all my PDX peeps let your ...

First off my apologies for the absense of the Indie Pop Tuesday in the past few weeks. The new releases are starting to pick up so more to come next week.
Bush, Hamas and Alito, gotta love 'em. Who needs sitcoms for laughs tonight when you can watch shrub try to annunciate the "hard" words. And Hamas or shall I say Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiyya, good luck dealing with this administration. Ya might wanna add a few more prayers to your daily ...
Lots to do today as Magic is a short 3 weeks away so I'll keep this a short one.
Here's a shot of a mini-blogger convention last friday in Portland, OR. (left to right- LeLo, MindlessGirl, MerchMikey (Me), Superinky and Dieselboi)
Don't they look like they all work for me?
Oh yeah and it f&*$ing rained the entire weekend.
A couple of things worth mentioning happened to me this morning.
First off I dropped off Miss Lucille at her preschool and while on the way the back I was confronted with several Subaru driving assholes on the interstate. Nevermind the fact that I drive a much faster car yet do not feel the need to run down other cars and pass them going 100mph. I do not however drive a car that looks like a frickin' turtle.
Secondly we heard back ...
Although not new the pastime enjoyed by japanese schoolchildren known as hikaru dorodango has seen increased interest around the web in the last few days. Translated it means "Shiny ball of mud" that are formed and polished to achieve a perfect sphere with a high lustre. The children have been studied whilst making the balls, contests have been held, and I suspest that there are songs cartoon characters and food items all in Dorodango style.
