Saturday Schmaturday

My mention of the rice sock yesterday reminded me of one of my favorite Michael Ian Black (The State, Ed, Stella) bits from his days as Johnny Bluejeans on Viva Variety. Kick-ass Comedy Central show from the late 90’s with Kerri Kenney and Thomas Lennon from the current hit Reno 911. Anyways it was a bit for the Salsa Sock. Hilarious but sadly I can’t find any info on it so you’ll just have to take my word for it. Funny. I wonder what the future holds for this comedy collective that started with The State and has culminated in the recently completed big screen flick Reno 911: Miami directed none other than the Ben Garant (Deputy Travis Junior). Can’t wait for it to hit the theatres in please-o-please R rated form.
Anybody else out there love the episode where Jones gives it to Dangle so hard that he calls in sick the next day or the one where Junior gives the kids a tour of the station?
Did you know? - Larry Kenny, father of Kerry Kenney (Reno 911, Viva Variety) was the voice of cereal icon Count Chocola.
