Monday Mi.nu.tia

4 was sooo last year - Miss Lucille turned 5 this weekend and things will never be the same again. She insists on being called Lucille as opposed to Lucy and is no longer the rugrat of days past. As the result of being the daughter of two “blended” households, she had back-to-back celebrations. Sat. was the organized “Gym” party complete with an obstacle course and assorted shenanigans. Yesterday Bevs made her a Hello Kitty cake and tonight we are giving birth to/hatching our very first batch of the venerable classic, Sea Monkeys. What Fun!
WTF? Moment of the week - 27 inches of snow in NYC and yet here in VT (land of the 6 month winter) nothing, zilch. nada. Kinda wonky. I propose that instead of dumping all that snow in the river that New York builds a huge “Big Air” jump in Central Park to memoralize this once in a lifetime event.
Mmm ham - If you’re Dick Cheney and you shoot your friend whilst hunting, what do you say? Perhaps Dick thought he was in a Warner Bros. cartoon and was hallucinating. Yeah that’s it. He thought his buddy was a either a big plate of food, a VC soldier or perhaps a Quail. “Sorry Harry, now quit being such a pussy and take it like man.”
Woo-hoo! Happy, Fancy Five, miss thang! May you always love Hello Kitty cakes.
happy b-day Lucy!
looking forward to seeing you two again - this is getting too regular….
oooooo….Happy Birthday, Miss Lucille! Hope you all had a perfectly DIVINE celebration.
Yeah!!! Happy 5th Birthday! A Hello Kitty cake sounds very special and exactly what Lelo as a little girl would have wanted, too. Actually, Lelo as an adult likes them too!!
