Papa got a brand new bag iPod

Yesterday I picked up an iPod Nano and rounded out the Tinystable with the wafer thin flash drive unit.
Here’s a hot tip. Most retailers are out of stock after the holidays but you can get your hands on a used white 2GB model over at Small Dog for $179. Free shipping to boot. These units were returned, probably because the owner was a pussy and decided it was Apple’s fault that it was easily scratched. Get yo’self a can of Brasso, polish it up and laugh at someone elses foolishness.
Oh yeah lest I forget, NEW TINYMEAT NANO CASES WITHIN THE WEEK.

Hrmmmm, I see the 1GBs being sold out although it says they’ll be back in stock in mid-January. I really have no idea if they will drop the Shuffle line, or even touch the iPod line this January at MacWorld…I was talking to Mikey the other day about maybe seeing a wireless iPod, one that could stream music to your Airport Extreme, that would be pretty rad!
Rigo,
Go with the Nano.
1. For 70 bucks more than the 1 GB shuffle, you get twice the storage capacity, a color screen and a photo storage device.
2. Rumour has it the shuffle line is about to change. The Apple site currently lists the 1GB shuffle as unavailable
3. You truly will be happier with a screen to see what your listening to.
4. The Nano is cool as F$!
5. Those who tell you that it scratches easy and not to buy it are just a bunch of whiny PUSSIES.
There ya have it. Go buy one and I will send you a new fangled Tinymeat Nano case to Beta test
Ha!
maybe i’ll just buy a nano.
Rigo,
I DID design a prototype for the shuffle last spring
Check it out here
I think Apple has plans for the shuffle, either modifying/updating it OR killing it all together and perhaps replacing it with a smaller Nano style device. You never can tell with Jobs and Co. I guess we’ll have to wait a few weeks to find out.
Macworld is just around the corner.
Go to this thread over at thinksecret.com to get the full speculation of what will happen to the shuffle.
so is the shuffle too small for a case?
Right you are Jimmy. I might add that the unit I purchased from you came complete with the box and all the tidbits inside. After about an hour of polishing w/ brasso it’s good as new.
Now to gt my hands on that iControl mixing board.
I’m thinking it might be fun to do a new music podcast/review and have 2-3 other peeps on a live feed through Skype or Audio ichat.
whatcha think?
99.999% of the iPods I’ve run through and tested are Windows formated, meaning they come from our lovely & HIGHLY intelligent Windows friends! Just about all of them are BRAND NEW and other are not used at all. Silly Windows people can’t even figure out an iPod!
Can’t wait to see the Nano cases!
Mc out
that’s cool. i read somewhere that one can pick up older I-pods off ebay for around $50. these older ones are 2 and 4gb, have replacable batteries and are easily hacked with linux.
