gloveboX - “In the End”
GloveboX / Baria Records
GloveboX are from Australia and this is their debut self titled album. Featuring 12 eclectic pop songs (plus a remixed track) the album oozes the kind of energy that makes you want to sing at yourself in the mirror with a hairdryer microphone. GloveboX utilize their crossover sound of Electrorganic super Pop to form a collage of different sonic textures, beats and grooves layered under the distinct unusual voice of Mishka. The Hungarian/Cyprian singer who’s remarkable vocal brands each song and twists it’s attitude. Their lyrics stem from real life experiences and emotions giving their music depth and meaning but manage to still maintain the element of super pop fun. - Site bio

Chin Up, Chin Up - “Collide the Tide”
We Should Have Never Lived Like We Were Skyscrapers / Flameshovel Records

Look beyond the steely skyscrapers jutting into Chicago’s grey sky, past the potholed streets and shadowed alleys, and you might be able to find something beautiful in this scuffed-up metropolis. Something like a cornflower pushing through a cracked sidewalk, struggling its way toward sunshine. Or the sun glinting off choppy lake waves at dusk. Or the sounds of Chin Up Chin Up, whose disarmingly resonant debut album We Should Have Never Lived Like We Were Skyscrapers is ready to carry you through autumn and beyond.
