Find the Brownie Trading Cards
Just in time for the holidays, Paul Krugman over at the NYT has concocted a fun new trivia game called “Find The Brownie”.
He writes
The objective in Find the Brownie is to find an obscure but important government job held by someone whose only apparent qualifications for that job are political loyalty and personal connections. It’s inspired by President Bush’s praise, four days after Katrina hit, for the hapless Michael Brown, the director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency: “Brownie, you’re doing a heck of a job.” I guess it depends on the meaning of the word heck.
Kinda like “Where’s Waldo” but with extreme difficulty as these bozos are quick in covering their tracks and hanging their heads as to not be outted. Let’s get ‘em.
What fun. I propose that we/you/tinymeat produce series 1 of the “Find the Brownie” trading cards. Just think of the trivia and stats. Their unrelated resumes, lobby affiliations and luncheon record. There could even be the elusive “Presidential Ass-Kiss” chase card. My question is if gum came in the packages, what flavor would it be?
Allright who’s been ferreting out those Tom, Dick and Brownies? Lets see your list
