If we are indeed in the New Era of hurricanes in this country then WTF have the feds, state and local authorities been doing during the last decade that we have been in this cycle?
Maybe if Dubya would have pulled his head out of his ass 4 years ago and concentrated on business here at home rather than making his “Daddy” proud with the whole middle east mess, we would have a more cohesive emergency response plan and the money to fund it.

Remember H Ross Perot and his wacky pie charts from the ‘92 election? Two of his major platform issues were strengthening our infrastructure and reducing the national deficit. He garnered 19% of the popular vote stealing votes away from Bush. Surely he was ahead of his time as those two issues are rapidly becoming the biggest concerns this country faces as a result of having this bozo and his right wing friends mucking up the works for the last 5 years. I say lets bring him outta retirement, pair him up with Dean and get the status quo in this country to wake the f@#$ up.
