2 Death Day!? @ July 20th, 2005

Not only has the guy who invented TV dinners (Gerry Thomas) died at the age of 83, but also James Doohan better known as Scotty to all you Trekkie fans. R.I.P.

0 FireFox 1.0.6 @ July 20th, 2005

Wow, Mozilla, try to fix as much as you can before you release the application. These guys are releasing updates more often then our good friends at Microsoft! Anyways this new update restores API compatibility for extensions and web applications that did not work in Firefox 1.0.5. Can't use the Fox without those wonderful extentions! Also while browsing feeds today I came across an interview with Asa Dotzler one of the Firefox developers. It basically just talks about him and what ...

3 Humpty Hump Day link-o-rama @ July 20th, 2005

And you thought duct tape was just for wallets. Nice hand tat' btw. Cocktail weinies personified from the good folks at Nippon Meat Packers. Brilliant. File this under "I saw it coming after the book on Bullshit": "Juvenile, profane, and timeless, FUCK this book collects images of real public signs that have been mischieveously altered by stickers bearing the most expressive of all four letter words. Not so brilliant. When in Enumclaw, do as the Enumclawites do, just watch out for that pesky ...

0 TinyMeat Is Growing @ July 19th, 2005

So if TinyMeat grows to be huge, do we call ourselves, BigMeat? I think we'll just stick with TinyMeat but really what it means to me is a tiny group of hipster people serving a big community. This past week TinyMeat has grown so much in my eye, we've picked up some new friends, of course we made some enemies, but it's all good. We've heard back from some larger companies about orders and it just flat out shocks me! So ...

2 Tube Turgidity @ July 19th, 2005

I guess, when it comes down to it, what I rot my brain watching on the tube says more about me than about the shit i watch...i cannot help myself when it comes to "reality" TV...(god, save my soul)...I like to pretend it is excercise for my career outside of tinymeat and that some how all these shows are little mental health case studies...yeah, whatever...it is fun and it does allow me to keep my diagnostic skills tuned-up... let's start with ...

2 Monday Night Ramsey @ July 18th, 2005

Ok so I am hooked on Fox Network's Hell's Kitchen and I don't fully understand why. At first I was rooting for the contestants because Chef Ramsey is so mean but now I understand why. They are all, with the exception of Elsie, bonafide douchebags. . I find it hard to believe judging by their completely narcissistic behavior that any of them are capable of running a kitchen team. Stay tuned as there are only 3 contestants left and ...

0 You Can’t Roll Like That! @ July 18th, 2005

As the day comes to an end, it's been quite busy over on my end. I've been looking up and reading about tons of different backends and databases various websites have been using, ShareLive, Flickr, and LiveJournal just to name a few. I've also been working on a design for my own personal TinyMeat wallet. It's going to star my favorite horse, Maggie. Unfortunately I am not really a designer so I'm going to leave it in the hands of ...

3 The Fox Hacked @ July 18th, 2005

Looks like not all news about Mozilla FireFox is good. Sometime in the last week or so, the SpreadFireFox website was hacked. It was unknown as to whether any personal information has been compromised. I am getting sick of these malicious hackers. I don't mind if they go and deface a George W. Bush website, but comon, FireFox? MerchMikey - Tru dat Jimmy. I can't understand why someone would choose to mask their shortcomings and insecurities by generating malicious attacks on our ...

1 NewsToday…Sucks? @ July 17th, 2005

A couple months ago I recieved an email from NewsToday telling me I had a "strike" on my account. I had "violated" some part of the QBN protocol. While reading over the protocol tonight I couldn't find out which one I had violated. Mikey had also been banned from posting in the broadcast area and was restricted to posting in the public voice area. While we both do not understand these bannings we're also angered because we've been stopped from ...

0 Optimus Keyboard @ July 17th, 2005

Just a little follow up on Mikey's post about the OLED keyboard from Optimus. This site has a nice interview with the people creating the keyboard. So far it looks very interesting and I am anxiously awaiting more information on a release date and specs.

0 Ghetto Style Sunday @ July 17th, 2005

Curse you Costco and your gutbuster franks. I'm standing at the counter mouth salivating at the frankfurter nirvana that awaits my grumblin' tummy. To fully appreciate my unbridled hot dog lust you must first realize that we broke down and got a Costco membership this afternoon. I haven't had a Costco dog in years and much to my surprise they were still $1.50 complete with a 20 oz. fountain drink. OK back to the counter. "One hot dog please" I ...

0 500,000,000 Sold on iTunes! @ July 17th, 2005

Apple gave away an iPod mini and an iTunes gift card for 50 songs to the iTunes customer who purchased the winning song at each 100,000 interval. 0 Tagging & Stuff… @ July 17th, 2005

This entire morning I've spent learning about Technorati Tagging. I must say it's very interesting in how it all works. I've even signed myself up for an account for my own personal blog. It's pretty simple and easy to use one you get the hang of it, so anyone else out there with a blog, I really recommend checking it out! Anyways, I've learned that 10% of the video uploaded onto Google's Video Search is porn, 90% has been unverified...I ...

0 FireFox Gains on Internet Explorer @ July 17th, 2005

While picking through some feeds this morning I noticed that Mozilla FireFox is taking more market share, a whole .71% from May. If you're not using FireFox I highly recommend switching over to it. You'll have a much safer and secure web browsing experience! MerchMikey adds: Internet Explorer? What's that? Seriously Firefox has become the new defacto browser standard in almost a blink of an eye. I cannot see any reason to use Explorer whatsoever.
