it’s late…i can’t sleep…my whole being hurts from all the tiny tasks we have been up to since dailycandy’s post…i finally convinced mikey to hit the hay as he has been going full throttle for days now…just sewing his little heart out. i know he is dying for some time to do real blogging(did anyone notice NO indie pop tuesday…) and some designing (he recently got this sweet, yet bizarre paintings that he would like to do some designs with), but there will be none of that for a bit with the recent flurry of activity here. so many exciting possibilities are upon us, it is pretty cool and i am incredibly proud of all the work he has done!

Fly Bird a rad shop in Oak Park IL is the most recent store addition to the tiny family…if you are in the area, pop in, check it out and say hi to Julia or you can visit their sweet site…they carry everything i want to own and a number of things i already do…very cool!

ok, so some things piqued my curiosity this week or at least made me think WTF…first of all…the whole boy scout jamboree that has been happening in PA…yeah, ok, so several troop leaders from Alaska get electrocuted and die the first night and then numerous little twinks…ah, i mean scouts, get overcome with heat stroke and exhaustion from the crazy ass heat wave and the damn thing still goes on????!!!! right…, and then i heard about this female android in Japan…Repliee Q1…seriously, this scientist in japan made his very own woman…isn’t that creepy, she looks so damn life like…and get this, as the scientist was discussing how life like she appears and how real her skin seems, he stated she was “…very satisfying…”…what the hell is that about??? and…drumroll… to top it all off…what the hell is the deal with that new lame-ass National Energy Plan…please, all it is more money for these super-wealthy energy companies… someone please smack that idiot congressman from TX who actually called it a bill “…for America’s future…”
