Yeah The Deathray Davies are cool. LuchLibre from Dallas turned me onto them. I would love to see the National w/ Clap Your Hands Say Yeah at the Bowery Ballroom in Sept. That will be a kick-ass show.

In regards to the Top Singles of the Half Year, it’s on like neck bone! I should have my list up in the next 2-3 days!

Thanks for the comments! I can’t really argue with any of your choices, since they’re many of the same as mine (though I just can’t get into M.I.A. for some reason). I’d really like to check out that Amusement Parks On Fire album.

OK OK Chico, techinically yes, in the UK, but it’s been import only here in the states. I might be wrong but Amazon lists it’s release as 7.26.05. WTF? It’s still a kick-ass release and KEXP has been playing a unreleased track that is quite fetching.

didn’t the go! team album come out last year?

  9. Gardener June 25th, 2005

great album that new Royksopp even if
it is kinda sappy. The LP by Black
    Mountain is just STUNNING however!

OK now I’m not trying to open up a can of worms (OK I am, kinda) but Bloc Party has waaaaaay more skills than BJM and their Iggy wannabe singer. Brett back me up on this one. I know you loves the Bloc, and besides the singer is a hot hot hottie!
