It always starts and ends the same way. I look at the menu decide quickly and put the menu down on the table. This happens at a down home circa. 1918 establishment here in town and aside from the specials the menu rarely changes. Bev makes here choice or so I think. The waitress comes to take our order and Bev proclaims “No you go first”. I place my order and once again the conversation is handed back to Bev to make her decision and without fail orders the same thing she always orders; A turkey club sandwich. Is there a method to our madness?
