Over one hundred Weezer fans will appear as extras today (Monday, February 28th) when the band films their new video in Los Angeles, according to Billboard.com. The clip is for the song "Beverly Hills," the first single from Weezer's upcoming fifth album. The extras were selected through a lottery held at the group's official website.
The yet-to-be-titled CD is tentatively slated to arrive in May, while "Beverly Hills" will make its way to radio stations in mid-to-late-March.

Climber- "Ep"
The Portland Tribune had this to say about Climber pops out of the cellar: "It's no easy thing to pinpoint Climber's sound. Songs are dominated by as many as three keyboards playing at once, but it's always clean and minimal."
My lovely friend and superinky propagater, Anna caught these guys last night opening for Bettie Serveert out in PDX. The vocals are vaguely reminiscent of Shawn Smith (Brad, Satchel) mixed with everything from Mum to Kenna to Her ...

Taco Bell @ February 22nd, 2005
Taco Bell on A&E's Biography this Friday
After a lackluster early season amount of snowfall, mother nature has seen to make up for her sputtering start. Uggghhh. The winters do tend to drag on here in the northeast. Reminds me of something my dad used to say, "if you don't like it, move." hmmm. Could a change of habitat be in my future? Don't get me wrong I love the snow and frigid temps, but 5 months of this?

By now we have all heard the news of the untimely suicide of Hunter S. Thompson inventor of "Gonzo" journalism which many consider to be closely related to blogging. An interesting comparison to Spaulding Gray is made by my friend Superinky on her site. Remember that guy? I believe that his body never did resurface after he allegedly jumped off of a NY ferry. Nice move, leaving family and friends behind. For being a couple of selfish bastards ...
Ok so many have written before me about Google Maps and I highly recommend adding their blog to your reader, but I have to comment on it as well. A quick search for montpelier/pizza took me to a localized map with all of the pizza slingers (minus a few stragglers and ludites) in my town. Big deal but here's the kicker. The map has hyperlinks to their info, websites and phone numbers. Can ordering for delivery from within ...
Lot's to do today. I plan on sewing and trimming 60 wallets and 100 wristbands. I'm really trying to stock up for the big festivals that we plan on bringing our merch to. Sometimes I wish I had a sweatshop in the basement that I could holler down orders to. Ahh, sweatshop labor for pennies an hour. One can dream can't he? Watching Arcade Fire perform on the kid's show Pancake Mountain.

Well we are close to going live with our official Tinymerch store. One things for sure, the worlds about to change and I am trying to prepare myself for the inevitable flurry of activity during the next few months. This certainly feels like the calm before the storm. Around every corner has been validation and support from so many kind people. It means alot that the ideas we create and nurture have been accepted by so many and ...
